About
Amelia is from Arizona, currently residing in Connecticut, working throughout the East Coast. Her photojournalism work has appeared in numerous publications, including LA Weekly and Phoenix Magazine, among others.
Before embarking on her photographic journey, Amelia spent two decades honing her skills as a classically trained dancer. However, it was a transformative experience teaching dance to children in Japan during the harrowing 2011 earthquake and tsunami that ignited her passion for photography. Armed with a camera, she captured the poignant aftermath of the disaster, sparking a profound commitment to photojournalism.
Today, Amelia immortalizes the world around her through the lens of her camera, seamlessly blending her passion for photojournalism with the artistry of analog photography.
